Happy Eve Of All Hallows

Oh, my goodness.

This has been a week that has changed my outlook on all things digital-kiss.

Things have been rather hectic on the technical side (there's a change!) with my blog on the site not uploading and my dictafone hiding the complete folder of late night thoughts, both of which sent me into a blind spin. It really doesn't help matters when the "tech-pert" shrugs with a smile and hint of "but you're a girl!?" and I send an SOS to the wrong manufacturer. Oops! I blushed and tweeted!

Also, it was suggested to me that I edit the copy within the website as it was more "art" than "product" based and I would need to simplify for immediate impact. So, back to the joys of learning code (this time CSS) and a whole new look. I do like what is about to be published. Slick. I just wish that I'd done this from the start!

This time next week, all should be in a very different place. (smile) I really can't wait!!

Fondest regards,

Technicalities Of Digital-Kiss!

A Brand New Place to Post!

Not through choice but more out of necessity.
iWeb is fabulous at most things but not if published
away from Apple hosting and with a live auction on
the tail end. But a new site has been made and it
seemed safer to update from a distance.

In a moment I shall try and retrieve previous postings
and publish those here too. Well, I wouldn't like to be
seen as split-purpose or anything untoward.

Maybe tell you of what has happened since last posting?
Emails and more emails sent in the hope I might secure a
Press Agent who likes the story enough and can see the
huge possibilities if digital-kiss gets as far as I anticipate.

I had fun networking at Frieze Art Fair last week in
Regent's Park. Met enough random people to know I'm
not so "out-there!"

So, tomorrow I publish MkII website. Keep everything
crossed that I don't kill my auction!? I've aged enough
without kisses...

Fondest regards,

Ms Digital-Kiss

Critical Digital

Page 3 Girl

Two newspaper articles of varying content have given
rise to a variety of responses. As I guessed, Digital-Kiss was always going to be controversial, which was not what I set out to be, but thankfully had kept this awareness about the piece in order to deal with favourable and quizzical reactions as and when they surfaced.

The second run of flyers with amended times (now 10 months into and 2 months remaining) caused no end of grief, with poor attention from the printers leading to a re-run of previous months edition. Had to wait a further day which had a knock-on effect with distribution.
Was charged the same price for their error. Won’t be using again. Will supply details upon request!

A busy week ahead. Lots of marketing to be done...lots and lots and lots!

Until next time, fondest regards,

On The Radio

Yesterday I was interviewed by SpiritFm (96.6) and today I heard myself on air. Wow! I thought it went well considering I had no idea the recording was to happen there and then. Mr Jackson (Leon) was lovely and found Digital-Kiss quite different to his usual assortment of topics he reports on.

I also spent the morning editing photos and text for publication in a local weekly which uses a better quality of paper (as my friends made comment to me this week.)

And the final Digital-Kiss input for today was having more flyers printed up, but this time they say “forgone kisses for 10 months...”

Well, today is the day and in another 2 months the kiss will be sold! I can guarantee that this time will fly. Hold onto your hats, folks, it could get interesting!!

Will post again very soon.

Fondest regards,

Any Advance On A Tenner?

Well, Ladies & Gents, My auction script does indeed work! I am so relieved. I did have a series of bad dreams involving matrix-like binary code dripping down my walls and credit cards melting within a metre of my fingertips. Now, I wonder what that might have been telling me?!

So, now I am thinking about how best to get the word around and about. No need to tell you as you are already arrived. Thank-you.

I am of the belief that the city of London does have streets paved with gold so will be traveling up next week to knock on a few doors. If you might happen to know of anyone whose door would favour a knock, Please would you be so kind as to send me a droplet of mail to miss@digital-kiss.com. I will respond immediately and exercise my politest & most charming knock upon that chosen door.

So, for now I must away to self-serve some business cards with simple script to pass to lucky winners at the last race meeting at Goodwood tomorrow. One never knows!?!

Until next time, fondest regards,

Let The Bidding Begin

In the next few moments, I will publish this website for the umpteenth time in the hope that the auction script which I have so lovingly edited over the past few weeks finally and without hesitation sticks in place and functions smoothly and proficiently.

I am thrilled that I have managed to get this far, with one newspaper interview yesterday and arranging a meeting in London @ SmileTrain® HQ for next week.

I will be using social networking (Twitter) to market digital-kiss as far and wide as I can. Please contact me at miss@digital-kiss.com if you would like an e-flyer to send to your friends and family.

Anyway, cyberspace awaits the birth of a brilliant, fascinating and tender website complete with auction facilities!
